Warranty

Unless a product page states otherwise, Roccomotive warrants its own products for 2 years and its workshop fitting for 12 months or 20,000 km. Parts from other brands carry their manufacturer's warranty, which we help you claim.

Last updated 3 November 2026

This warranty is given by Roccomotive (ABN 93 496 319 178), Unit 2 13 Aldinga Street, Brendale QLD 4500. Phone 0415 672 000, email marcello@roccomotive.com.au.

These terms are in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, and nothing here limits those rights.

Roccomotive products

Roccomotive-designed and manufactured products are warranted against defects in materials and manufacture for 2 years from the date of purchase. This covers our intakes, airboxes, enclosures, panels, brackets, and trim parts.

Air filters are warranted against manufacturing defects for 12 months from the date of purchase. Filters are a service item, so clogging, contamination and normal wear are not defects.

If a product is confirmed to be defective, we will repair or replace it, at our choice. If a replacement is no longer available, we will offer a suitable alternative or a refund.

This warranty does not cover:

  • incorrect installation, overtightened fasteners, or fitting to a vehicle the product was not designed for
  • products that have been modified, cut, drilled, painted or repaired by anyone other than Roccomotive
  • heat damage from non-standard engine bay configurations, such as relocated turbos, removed heat shielding or added heat sources nearby
  • damage from chemicals, including degreasers, solvents, fuel and engine bay dressings
  • impact, accident or road debris damage
  • water ingestion from driving through water or high-pressure washing of the engine bay
  • cosmetic wear, including UV fading, discolouration and scratches on clear lids
  • normal wear and tear

The warranty period starts from the date of delivery for online orders, or the date of purchase or fitting for workshop sales. A repaired or replacement product is covered for the rest of the original warranty period.

Where a Roccomotive product was fitted by someone else, the warranty covers the product only. Unless the law requires otherwise, we do not cover the cost of removal, refitting, diagnosis, tuning, towing, hire vehicles or time off the road.

Please check your product when it arrives. Cosmetic issues are covered only if they are present on delivery and reported to us within 14 days, before the product is installed.

If you notice a fault, stop using the product and contact us. Damage caused by continued use after a fault becomes apparent is not covered.

Custom, one-off and prototype parts made under our design and prototyping services are covered by the terms in your quote, not this warranty.

Fitment, modified vehicles and road use

Please confirm your product suits your vehicle before you buy and fit it. If you are unsure, contact us before ordering.

Our products are designed around factory vehicles. Fitment and function can be affected by aftermarket parts, previous repairs, accident damage or market-specific differences. The warranty may not apply where these interfere with how the product fits or works.

You are responsible for making sure a product is legal for road use where you drive, and for any engineering approvals, inspections or certifications it needs. Products intended for off-road or motorsport use only are marked as such on the product page.

Roccomotive products are aftermarket parts. Vehicle makes, models, chassis codes and part numbers are used for fitment reference only, and our products are not made, approved or endorsed by the vehicle manufacturer.

Parts from other brands

Parts we supply from other manufacturers, including TEIN, Whiteline and SuperPro, are covered by that manufacturer's own warranty. Its length and conditions are set by the manufacturer, and some exclude motorsport or competition use.

If one of these parts fails, contact us first. We will inspect it, lodge the claim with the manufacturer on your behalf, and arrange the repair or replacement once the claim is approved.

Most manufacturer warranties do not cover the labour to remove and refit a failed part, and products sold as race, competition or off-road parts may carry no manufacturer warranty at all. Our workshop terms below set out when we cover that labour.

Workshop fitting and labour

Installation work done by Roccomotive is warranted for 12 months or 20,000 km from the date of fitting, whichever comes first. This covers faults caused by our workmanship, such as a component working loose or being fitted incorrectly. We will correct the fault at no charge.

If a part we supplied and fitted fails under its manufacturer's warranty within this period, we will also cover the labour to remove and refit it. After this period, labour for warranty part replacements is charged at our normal rates.

Conditions:

  • A wheel alignment is required after suspension work. Where alignment is included in a package, it is carried out by our nominated alignment provider, and the alignment itself is covered by that provider's warranty.
  • Any post-fitting check or tune-up session included in your package should be booked within the time we advise.
  • The vehicle must be returned to us for warranty work. Repairs done elsewhere are not covered unless we have approved them in writing beforehand.

The workmanship warranty does not cover:

  • damage from motorsport, track, off-road or competition use, including kerb strikes and off-track excursions
  • accident, impact or pothole damage, or damage from towing or overloading
  • adjustments, repairs or modifications made by anyone other than Roccomotive after fitting
  • customer-supplied parts, beyond the correct fitting of those parts
  • normal wear, and changes in alignment caused by impacts or worn components elsewhere in the vehicle

It also does not cover faults caused by worn or damaged components that we identified and recommended replacing, where you chose not to replace them. The workmanship warranty applies to the vehicle we worked on while it is owned by the original customer.

How to make a claim

  1. Contact us within the warranty period on 0415 672 000 or at marcello@roccomotive.com.au. Include your name, order or invoice number, vehicle, a description of the fault and when it started, photos or video of the problem and of the product as installed, and who installed it.
  2. Stop using the product or vehicle if continuing could cause further damage.
  3. We will arrange to inspect the product or vehicle at 13 Aldinga Street, Brendale QLD 4500, or give you instructions for sending the product to us. Please do not send a product back before we have given you return instructions.
  4. Once we confirm the claim, we will repair or replace the product, or correct the workmanship fault.

You will need proof of purchase or your invoice. This warranty applies to the original purchaser.

For accepted claims within Australia, we cover reasonable shipping to return the product to us and to send the repaired or replacement product back. If you bring a vehicle to our workshop, travel to and from Brendale is at your own cost. If we find the product is not faulty, or the fault is not covered, we will explain why, and any shipping, inspection or labour costs will be agreed with you before work goes ahead.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If this is not done, you are entitled to cancel the contract for the service and obtain a refund of any unused portion. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from a failure in the goods or service.

The benefits of this warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies you have under a law in relation to the goods or services to which the warranty relates.
