Privacy policy

We collect only what we need to make, sell, deliver and fit parts, answer enquiries and run this website. Here's what that covers and what we do with it.

Last updated 9 October 2026

What we collect

  • Your name, email address and phone number.
  • Business or company name, if you give one.
  • Delivery and billing addresses.
  • Your vehicle details and anything else you tell us in an enquiry, quote request or development vehicle program registration.
  • Order details: what you bought, amounts paid and delivery tracking.
  • Your account login, if you create an account.
  • How you use the website (see Cookies and analytics below).

We don't see or store your card details. Payments are handled by Stripe.

How we use it

  • To process, make, deliver and fit your order, and to keep you updated on it.
  • To reply to enquiries and prepare quotes.
  • To provide after-sales support, handle returns and keep the records the law requires, such as tax records.
  • To protect the website from spam and fraud.
  • To understand how the website is used and improve it, and to measure our advertising.

We don't sell your personal information. We won't send you marketing emails unless you've asked to receive them.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the business, and only what they need:

  • Stripe, to process payments.
  • Shippit and Australian couriers, to deliver your order.
  • Our suppliers and our nearby wheel alignment provider, where needed to supply or set up parts for your car.
  • Website hosting, security and email providers, which store data and send order and enquiry emails for us. hCaptcha checks that forms are filled in by people, not bots.
  • Google, Meta and Ghaze, for website analytics and ad measurement (see below).

Some of these providers store or process data outside Australia, including in the United States. We use established providers that are required to protect personal information.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Cookies and analytics

  • Essential cookies keep your cart and, if you log in, your account session working.
  • A first-party cookie remembers how you first found us, for example a search or an ad, for up to 90 days. It's used to understand which channels bring enquiries and orders.
  • Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel and Ghaze analytics record how the site is used: pages viewed, clicks, scrolling and the device and browser you use. This helps us improve the site and measure our advertising.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, but your cart won't be remembered between visits.

Keeping it secure

The website runs over an encrypted connection and access to customer information is limited to the people who need it. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.

We keep information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above or to meet legal obligations.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by contacting us on marcello@roccomotive.com.au or 0415 672 000. If you have an account, you can update your details yourself after logging in.

Questions and complaints

If you have a question or a complaint about privacy, contact us on marcello@roccomotive.com.au or 0415 672 000. We'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page.
