What it is

Engineered for performance. Designed to fit. Built to transform your engine bay. The Roccomotive airbox for the Nissan Skyline R34 GTT is a purpose-built intake solution designed to deliver improved airflow, clean integration with factory systems, and a refined engine bay finish.

Developed specifically for the RB platform, with the ability to house a Z32 MAF sensor inside the box. This eliminates the need for awkward external mounting solutions while maintaining accurate airflow readings and a clean, OEM+ layout.

Manufactured using advanced additive manufacturing in high-performance PC-CF (polycarbonate carbon fibre), the airbox offers excellent strength, heat resistance, and durability in demanding engine bay conditions.

With a focus on both performance and usability, the design maximises internal volume, supports consistent airflow, and provides a structured cold air intake solution over traditional open pod setups.

The result is a complete intake system that balances performance, functionality, and presentation — built for enthusiasts who want more than just a basic intake.

Key features

  • Integrated AFM provision — designed to house the airflow meter within the airbox for a clean and accurate setup
  • Optional blank grommet configuration — allows use without an AFM where required (custom setups)
  • Additive-manufactured PC-CF construction — high-strength, heat-resistant material suited to engine bay environments
  • Optimised internal airflow design — large internal volume to support consistent airflow and performance
  • Cold air intake configuration — helps reduce intake temperatures compared to open pod setups
  • OEM mounting integration — designed to use factory mounting points for a clean installation
  • Clear polycarbonate inspection lid — quick visual access to filter condition
  • High-flow pod filter included

Materials are stated per product. We don’t publish airflow, temperature or power figures — there is no test data behind them, so we describe what the part is made of and how it’s designed instead.

How it's built

Box, lid, pipe, gaskets, filter, hardware. Nothing you have to fabricate.

Made in Brendale

Scanned, designed and printed a few streets from where it’s fitted.

Every Roccomotive product starts as a 3D scan of the actual engine bay, is designed over that mesh by a mechanical engineer, and is printed here in the material chosen for its job. Metal parts — like the GR Corolla’s cooling panel — are laser cut and powder coated.

Questions

Asked before you ask.

Can I buy it online?
No — each one is custom made to suit the car's setup, so we confirm the details with you first. Enquire with your car and we'll come back with the build, price and lead time.
Do I need a tune?
No — a tune isn't required simply to fit this airbox. Whether further tuning adds benefit depends on the rest of the car's setup. That answer is specific to this product, not a blanket rule.
MAF in the box, or no MAF?
Either. The box houses the airflow meter as standard, or takes a blank grommet for setups without one. Tell us which your car runs.
