What it is
The Roccomotive Performance Intake System has been developed specifically for the Gen 6 Subaru Liberty / Legacy 3.6R, providing a fully enclosed airbox with a purpose-designed dual air intake system.
Rather than relying on a single air feed, the Roccomotive design incorporates both upper and lower intake ducts to supply the enclosed airbox with fresh ambient air. The system is designed around the available space within the vehicle, providing a vehicle-specific solution with an OEM-style fit and finish.
The main airbox, upper and lower intake ducts, exit pipe and mounting legs are manufactured from carbon fibre reinforced polycarbonate (PC-CF), selected for its strength, temperature resistance and dimensional stability in demanding engine-bay conditions.
A clear polycarbonate airbox cover provides visibility of the filter and internal airbox while maintaining a fully enclosed design. Purpose-designed TPU gaskets seal the cover, lower intake and exit pipe, while flexible TPU mounting bushes provide vibration isolation at the factory mounting points.
The system is supplied with a silicone hose joiner and stainless hose clamps to connect the intake assembly, along with all required mounting hardware.
Designed using 3D scanning and CAD and manufactured in Australia by Roccomotive, this system is designed as a premium intake solution for the naturally aspirated 3.6R.

Every Roccomotive product starts as a 3D scan of the actual engine bay, is designed over that mesh by a mechanical engineer, and is printed here in the material chosen for its job. Metal parts — like the GR Corolla’s cooling panel — are laser cut and powder coated.
